As far as I know there are no medical studies on the transgendered population and breast cancer. However, based on some other medical studies there have been new theories.
Recently, there have been studies revealing non-transgendered women having a higher incidence of breast cancer after five years of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). This may mean that men who have transitioned to female bodies and are on HRT may have an increased risk in developing breast cancer.
Other studies have shown that excessive testosterone in men can be converted into estrogen, leading to an increase in estrogen-related health problems such as breast cancer. This can also occur with HRT for female to male transgendered individuals.
