Bone Cancer

Stem cell transplants are an alternative treatment to chemotherapy. The transplanted stem cells may destroy as many cancer cells in the body as possible and replace them with healthy stem cells. External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT) uses a radiation machine outside the body to direct high-energy rays at cancerous tissues within the body. Total Body Irradiation (TBI) targets the radiation dosage to the skeletal bone structure.
